The Pulse Foundation is a charitable organization I created with the goal of helping others locally and abroad. It all began when I made a visit to a small town in Haiti called Pignon in 2016. Travelling with a group called The Fuller Center, the purpose was to help build housing for the locals. As a martial arts expert and inspirational athlete, I wanted to share my passion with the people of Haiti and donate training equipment to the local schools.
The idea was so well received by the community that I played around with ideas of having my own martial arts school in Pignon. A local Haitian martial artist took interest in my vision and agreed to dedicate his life to building my vision and teaching to the people of Pignon if I opened my own school there. So began Pulse Taekwondo Haiti and The Pulse Foundation!
